Great website. Keep up the good work.
I know it is not mid-century as things go, but has anyone looked at Shangri-La up in Afton. It was an eyesore when it closed. I visited in 2001 (for the first time since ‘72) while working on a project in Tulsa for a client. Not as it was in the late 60s or early 70s (now showing my age).
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Joe

Great idea and great website. My family and I live in one of the Donald Honn homes in Tulsa. I really look forward to following this website and getting involved with the group.

Very good website! I’ve been looking for a method to contact you about some other local blogs taking place; however, I have been unable to find any means that are available. I didn’t want to just start hunting you down through nameserver records or your domain name. But if you could, please email me at the address provided on this form in Wordpress.
Thanks,
Justin

I’m involved in a group in OKC that is planning to put together a tour and a photographic exhibit of mid-century modern architecture in OK. Currently, we are interviewing different architects, scouting locations, etc.
Is there someone with your organization that I can contact about including your part of the state in the exhibit and possibly having it travel to Tulsa or Bartlesville?
Thanks.

Last July, my husband & I purchased a home at 5820 S. Delaware Place. We were delighted, when presented with the original plans, to find out that it was designed by Cecil Stanfield. It is a functional contemporary with with three corners of the house being glass, with no visible means of support. We’ve been told that the house was the first to be built in Fairway Estates. We have restored the house in keeping with its modern theme, altho’ our furnishings give it an eclectic flair.
We appreciate your website.
