Jennifer, George Chamberlain was a professor at Oklahoma State University School of Architecture for decades. He was a licensed architect and he taught "Architectural History and Perspective Drawings, Shades & Shadows". I was one of his students and later one of his teaching assistants back in the 80's. He had a vast knowledge of architectural history and was very dedicated to the profession of architecture. I was only in his house one time while attending college at OSU. I'm glad to hear that you are now the current resident at his old address!

I've admired this home for quite some time. Went back in the archives on Tulsa MLS (I'm a part-timer with Keller Williams) but no activity or pictures to be found. I love this style and have fantasized about buying this home and doing a few updates, yet preserve the general look of the home as it stands. Anyway, I wonder what a new home similar to this one would cost to build? (love this site!)

Wow, Mary! That's just plain MEAN. I'm glad I didn't see your nasty comment until now. You might want to have another look at my site since I've added thousands of more photos & info from Oklahoma and elsewhere since this nice plug from Modern Tulsa.

The house marked 6790 was my old home from around 1967 to 1970 ( I think ).
A pleasant surprise to see it here!
Especially welcome as I live in Australia since 1983, and rarely make it back to Tulsey Town.
Thanks!
