This is a home listing I just received. I understand it was desiged by Cecil Stanfield and was the first home in Fairway Estates, built in 1959. I notice the butted glass corner windows, which is pretty cool.

Is that the original roofline? It seems a bit steep for 1959.

Yes, that is the original roofline. We have the plans from Stanfield – thanks to the family who built it, from whom we purchased the home in 2007. Our entire restoration maintained the original integrity of the home. Ask Marty Newman – he’s seen the house.

Its great that this house has been maintained and the interior upgraded. The setting is wonderful with all those huge trees.

Cecil Stansfield Rivington lived in the 17th century in England. Cecil Stanfield lived in Tulsa on South Florence Avenue and designed 5820 S. Delaware Place.
